Storage Unit FAQ's
Does your storage units come assembled?
Yep! No need to worry about flat pack boxes These are fully assembled and ready to roll to it's new location and use.
Are the castors lockable?
Each storage unit comes fitted with castors, with half of them lockable to keep the unit secure when needed.
Is the top shelf included?
No, You must select the "With top shelf" option when placing your order. If you select this option, your storage unit will come with a 12mm plywood top shelf.
Can I leave the storage unit in the weather?
No. These storage units are not designed to be left under the weather. They should be positioned in an undercover area, away from direct rain.
Can you paint the frame?
We don't paint, but by all means, go for your life as a DIY project!
We’ve seen customers coat them in everything from bright pink paints to clear varnishes, and they’ve all looked fantastic in their own way.
The units are built from solid construction timber, and like all natural timber, they can discolour over time if exposed to direct sunlight.
Do the containers come in different colours?
No. The containers currently only come in a dark grey finish with green lids.
Do I have to use the lids for the containers?
Yep, the lids are important for the structural strength of the containers. Not to mention they help keep the dust, spiders, and pests out too.
Can you build a custom size?
Potentially, we have put a limit on how crazy the combinations get but if you reach out to us via our contact page and explain exactly what you're after, we will do our best to accommodate.
We do drop new designs and combinations to our website quite often, so make sure you join our email list.
Can you build these using treated pine?
No, treated pine is coated with harmful chemicals.
Are the containers food safe?
No, the containers are not rated to be food safe.
Delivery FAQ's
Can I pick up my order?
Generally no, as we make everything from our house. However, if you're regional or from interstate, we may be able to work something out. Send us a message using out contact page and we will do our best to help you out.
Do you ship interstate?
Currently, no. We are looking into interstate shipping and will advise when this is ready to go. Be sure to sign up to our email list.
Do you deliver on Saturdays?
We currently offer deliveries on Fridays and Saturdays only, however, Saturdays are a super busy day, we will do our best but cannot guarantee.
Can you carry the storage unit upstairs?
Our delivery is a kerbside drop-off and cannot carry the storage units upstairs.
Can I request a time slot for delivery?
We can't promise this, Our delivery days are crazy and sometimes we go from one side of Victoria to the other. We do however message you the night before with an approximate 3 hour window, and we will message you when we are on the way.
What if I wasn't home for delivery?
This is almost impossible, we send you a message with a 3 hour time slot the night before and we message you when we are on the way, however if there was an emergency and you had to step out, we will need to reschedule your delivery. Unfortunately another delivery fee will apply.
Returns FAQ's
Can I cancel my order?
Each storage unit is made to order, once you have placed your order you have 48 hours to cancel and we will issue you a full refund. After 48 hours we would have already started cutting the timber for your order. We can only refund 50% of your order and the delivery fee after the 48 hours.
I've changed my mind, can I return my product?
Unfortunately not. We don't stock any of our products and build them from scratch for you. We've put an enormous amount of effort to give you as much information as possible on our website. Please do not purchase until you are 100% satisfied with what you are purchasing.
Is there a warranty?
If there is a non-cosmetic defect in the materials or workmanship of our product, we’re happy to replace, refund or repair it for free in the first year. The containers are not covered under warranty.
